AUXILIARY NURSE MIDWIFE (ANM)

The Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) course is designed to train students to provide basic healthcare services, particularly in maternal and child health, in rural and urban communities.

  • Course Duration:Duration: 2 years
  • Structure:The course includes both theoretical instruction and practical training.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  •   Minimum Education: Completion of 10+2 (high school) education.
  •   Candidate must appear in combined enterance exam conducted by Jharkhand govt to procure admission.
  •   Stream : candidates from any stream are eligible.
  •   Minimum Marks: Candidates must have secured at least 40% aggregate marks in their 10+2 examinations from any recognized board.
  •   Age Limit: Minimum Age: 17 years at the time of admission, Maximum Age: No upper age limit.

ANM can upgrade their educational qualification by opting GNM course .
